What do you like best? Time savings, reduction of human error, don't need rare skills anymore, Centralized console for single point of management, Automated ("lights out") system administration What do you dislike? It is an incredibly complex and requires specialized skills to install and maintain. What do you like best? Resource Manager GUI, once you get the concept of resource manager it is much easier to set up "usage restriction" via Resource Manager Console than SQL PLUIS. Ability to write metric and deploy them to multiple databases. Scheduling RMAN backup jobs are much easier with EM console. Ability to monitor the host availability. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The best part is we can manage the Oracle databases fro mthe dashboard itself , a lot of features , the more i explore the more i am amazed , The database query tuning is one feaure i have always used.
