Within the limits of what I expected.

What do you like best? The complete set of features that had almost everything I needed. What do you dislike? Extremely hard to modify, if not something from the admin page. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Small details were sometimes hard to change and many times needed an actual change in the source code.

What do you like best? Relatively easy to deal with.. I prefer Magento personally. Harder to develope for but the end results are much better and easier for day to day admin. What do you dislike? 1.5* to 2.* incompatibilities. Made me drop it in favour of magento. OCMod/VQMod are really not that great system for modifications. Great it's all open source, but poor code quality

What do you like best? Great you get the full source code and can modify and customize it to your needs. Healthy eco system of available plugins and themes. Great that many of them are available for free with source code fully published. It allows you to really fully customize it per your needs and change as little or as many things as you like. Avoid Opencart its not worth the hassle

Downloaded latest version and its plagued with errors spent two hours debugging just to get through the install, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!

Get banned because they dont provide what you paid for

It seems if you order a theme and you don't get the theme you actually ordered, so you report this and get refunded, they actually ban you without telling you, but still allow you access to your opencart account.i ordered a theme several months ago and the theme i received was nothing like the one advertised, so i informed them of this and was refunded, so yesterday i had a client order hosting and he wanted an opencart theme, so paid me for the theme which i them went to order from OC and ...

So I was using Opencart to help out a friend. Spent days importing data and configuring the software and troubleshooting some of the bugs it has. Easy to install - but so many problems for maintenance and support

What do you like best? At least it's open source, and seems to get frequent updates. What do you dislike? It's completely hostile to 3rd party developers. Updates - even minor version updates- can completely break things. The use of vQmod means that the code you're looking at might not be what's running under the hood. I have written about the issue of Not Upwardly Compatible changes being made to OpenCart. I wish I could get them to see how harmful it is. What business problems ...
