I absolutely love it!

PROS: The platform is very easy to use and offers many useful shortcuts which allowed me to perform tasks way faster. Generally, it has made my life as a pharmacy intern a lot easier. CONS: Whenever I refill a prescription, the solution does not allow me to change particular Ndc’s for OTC products.

PROS: First of all, we got a free demo which has helped us learn what the platform can do. Second, it got a web portal which allowed medical practitioners and hospitals to accommodate more patients. Lastly, it is integrated with lots of service providers. For example, it connects practitioners and patients to pharmacies which make it easier for everyone to get the prescribed medications. A great EHR application

PROS: We became more efficient. This platform can be used for multiple purposes like scheduling appointments, storing files, and accessing patient’s information with ease. I specifically like the ability to look up various files without having to get in and out of the solution. CONS: The Citrix server occasionally stops working. But it’s just a minor issue and we usually are able to solve it immediately. Overall, this platform is still a valuable investment.

What do you like best about NextGen Healthcare EHR? How well Next Gen links all of the info on a patient. I can go from the encounter notes to the claims to the insurance info, etc etc without being in several systems. What do you dislike about NextGen Healthcare EHR? What do you like best about NextGen Healthcare EHR? Very detailed, easy to learn basic use of the system. Used by multiple health care facilities and with that it shares patient files so we can view also as a PCP. What do you dislike about NextGen Healthcare EHR? There are silly restrictions on things.
