It enables students to collaborate on a design project using a defined set of methods

What do you like best? It enables my students to collaborate in real-time either if they are right across each other or at home. It permits them to use the Design Thinking methods in a visual way while keeping the project documented. We have set a set of methods and we created a template board that we replicate for each class and each group. What do you dislike? I find it hard to scroll around, even using the outline. I feel it takes a bit of time to load pages, sometimes. I find ...

Mural the great equaliser

What do you like best? Geographically diverse teams become uneven when a few in an office have access to a room whiteboard and the lonely remote worker has to squint to see it over video conferencing. The remote worker feels like they are not part of the team. Enter Mural. All participants with equal capability and equal view of the world. Mural was quick to get used to. Almost everyone we show it to asks how to get their own access. Mural's wide variety of templates on offer ...

Mural Colaborations

What do you like best? Being able to remotely collaborate with my peers, share insight, message one another, drag and drop feature, being able to zoom in and zoom out with ease, downloading the actual screen, it is a desktop and mobile app, in browser use, map of board, screen sharing, table of contents, pre-made and customized templates, being able to differentiate between users through colors, commentary, CMS integrations and the screenshot option is great as well. What do you ...

Mural is the next best thing to being in front of a wall with a pack of stickies and a sharpie

What do you like best? The obvious answer during this time of social distancing is that it allows me to lead teams through design, prioritization, and experimentation virtually. I can do everything I used to do in person virtually. That being said, I have used it with virtual teams for years. I also like it for documenting work I have done at an in person workshop. The UI is almost 100% intuitive and is never in the way. What do you dislike? I still haven't gathered up the patience ...

Building trust and understanding in a complex time

What do you like best? Easy to rapidly visualise complex processes and incorporate feedback What do you dislike? People accidentally moving post it notes (they soon learn how not to) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are working with a team who need hellp scaling their processes to manage and track COVID-19 cases and close contacts. We are working in a very fluid and stressful environment. Using Mural has allowed us to ...

The best collaborative online tool

What do you like best? The ease of collecting information from the web and maintaining links to original content What do you dislike? Don´t have portuguese version and support in Brazil. I would like to be MURAL representative in Brazil. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would say that Mural is the ONLY really collaborative and essential tool for any organization that works with remote teams. In COVID-19 times with ALL companies with a home office, ...

One of the best online collaboration tools available!!

What do you like best? The ease with which you can set up new boards and invite people to participate. The core functionality is very easy to use and you do not need to spend a lot of time teaching new users. The timer and voting capabilities are great. The ability to export boards and share outcomes is very valuable. What do you dislike? Not a dislike but Works better with Chrome than explorer. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it, you'll love ...

Changed how non-designers in the business think and collaborate

What do you like best? While I love the Mural Templates, the key to our success has been the ability to invite anonymous users. While Mural creators and facilitators are continually growing in number, the success of each of us has been the ability to pull in anyone across the organization and beyond so that we can work together. What do you dislike? We have been struggling to get SSO working with our organizations AD. Its mostly a challenge of working with Mural technical support ...

Infinite, visual co-thinking space.

What do you like best? MURAL provides the most flexible and familiar starting point - a wide open space. While you can start from available templates, I often find that starting from scratch allows notes from a kick-off call to emerge into a visual project stakeholder map, parking lot for relevant resources, articles and shared documents. The ability to use space to sense-make from the myriad types of data any project has is amazingly helpful. It gives you infinite virtual thinking ...

Mural has been a game changer for our planning sessions. 10/10, recommend.

What do you like best? What makes Mural stand out from other tools I've used is the dot voting and timer features. Any Scrum Master who has to work with distributed teams would appreciate and use the hell out of these. What do you dislike? I wish it were easier to link up to Jira. That may be an issue with the way my company is organized though. I'm not sure Mural is seen as a particularly secure environment for official information like what's in Jira. Also, there were live ...
