Terrfic suite of products

What do you like best? When you purchase this, you gain access to the whole suite of products (SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM, ect. Each product has its own specific purpose, but also can be incorporated into each other very easily (SCOM being able to run runbooks in SCCM for deployments and scripts, ect.. What do you dislike? Setting up each product takes a great deal of time initially. You almost need to be a dedicated admin just for each product, which is often the case, especially for SCCM. ...

It is a NEED if you work with Microsoft Technology

What do you like best? We are using a lot of the System Center suite software, including DPM, SCCM and VMM. System Center make it possible to manage Microsoft technologies. They develop based on System Center, and other vendors understand the need, and also develop plugins for System Center. This is the central point for everything. Based on Windows Server Backup, DPM is a very easy to use backup solution. You can backup any Microsoft services including Exchange, SQL, Active Directory. ...

SCCM

What do you like best? I was introduced to SCCM around 2008 where I was supporting 20,0000+ IP devices. Before SCCM I was the WDSRISMOMVpro administrator with great success. I was able to setup and deploy SCCM/Endpoint myself in no time at all. First I tested on a virtual domain with little to no issues. The ability to remotely support your IP Devices is KEY. I have used many other products for deployment, support also reporting, but SCCM is my first choice. The end point protection was ...

MS System Center ease of use

What do you like best? I like how it works across multiple platforms but it is easy to use. It also has a lot of network protections and lots of options for solutions within one system. What do you dislike? I have found nothing to dislike about it. It can occasionally get bogged down but I believe that is more from our networking issue than anything, not specific to the system center. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think its a fantastic product and so ...
