Excellent management of infrastructure.

What do you like best? System Center (and most of its related products that we use work flawlessly to allow us to manage deployments, backups, and hardware monitoring. What do you dislike? I dislike how even though it is fairly extensible there isn't much in the way of PowerShell integration out of the box which is odd because other SC products like DPM or OM support PowerShell easily. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I really ...

Automated workflow processes and self-service options

What do you like best? Simple installations, in-place upgrades, and automated workflows. Can manage Linux too. Cloud integration. What do you dislike? Hard to tell at this point, still testing. Seems to be a bit too "complex" therefore complicated to use. Some glitches in VDI environment.. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Still testing, not fully integrated yet.

Microsoft System Center 2012 R2

What do you like best? Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 is a must have tool for any IT support personnel. The most useful feature among the many is the ability to create application packages and push them to machines. You can use Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 to push Windows Updates even. The feature I find I use the most day-to-day is the reporting tool. I create many queries and export to Excel for easy manipulation of data. What do you dislike? There is not much to not like about ...

Powerful product that is feature rich, but not for small enterprises

What do you like best? This is honestly the best deployment and Windows client management tool out there. SCOM is the best monitoring tool out there, as well. It has the ability to monitor issues in the environment and correct them - as in system services for example - and is highly customizable where you can add custom add-ons any number of third party vendors. Config Manager is also highly customizable and powerful where you can deploy software and updates to 100's or 1000's of ...
