Customisable boards for organising tasks

What do you like best? I like that Jira has multiple boards where we can track all our different departments and the ongoing projects. You can assign yourself or others to the projects and each project shows how many days have passed when the last update has been. Some boards allow you to use both internal and external notes which can further help with organization and productivity. You have the ability to move projects across the boards by status which is great if you have different ...

Jira for agile development

What do you like best? My team uses Jira to manage our overall sprint progress practicing SCRUM. I like that it's simple and easy to visualize the team's work progress in one board and gives us an easy place to look at and see work items are moving throughout the day. It seems to work well for our process where we break up work into small chunks that are typically expected to be done in 1-4 days. The ability to customize form fields in the Jira items has also helped us track things ...

Jira for IT

What do you like best? easy to use, UX is clear and simple. they have many good plug-ins. What do you dislike? it doesn't show the project Gantt in a good way and doesn't support Gantt planning. it's too focused on the sprints. Maybe perfect for agile development, but tricky for IT. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you use it for pure agile development - it's great. it integrates with other Attlassian tools, and help-desk/support tools. for ...
