JIRA: more than an issue tracker

What do you like best? I find JIRA really usefull not only for issue tracking but as a task management tool fully adaptable to the user needs. Since its first versions, it has evolved with new features to cover the needs that have emerged in the agile project management. Today you can use JIRA to manage your agile projects based on Scrum, or Kanban methodologies as well as to track project tasks or support tickets. The tools is completelly configurable, it allows to define custom ...

An awesome digital solution for managing projects

What do you like best? I really like Jira's save your filter option, which is really a great feature as it gives the new data as per the filter at any time. We don't have to manually filter out every time to get the latest updated data. This eases out the work in filtering out sprint status. Maintaining edit history is another good one as it helps in tracking the changes made to the story at any point of time. This applies to bugs logged as well. What do you dislike? As far as I ...

Jira will give you a correct planning of activities

What do you like best? What we like the most is its mobile interface that allows us to manage our projects, software development and many other things in an agile way. It is very useful to plan and create good products. But it can also be accessed via a desktop computer. This platform helps the teams to carry out the work and follow up on their activities. What do you dislike? A big negative point for jira is that it does not give us the function to perform chat or messaging. You ...

Jira will save us time with the management of our projects

What do you like best? That with this software you can connect to Confluence without any problem, allows you to create and track the problems we have in our project as well as see the requirements of the products, publish reports of deliveries, follow the progress we have made and more. You can access this platform by desktop or with your new mobile interface. What do you dislike? It does not have a chat or messaging service, a big flaw for the platform. No code refactoring is ...

Jira presents us with a high quality project management

What do you like best? Jira we like it a lot because it allows us to take complete control of the finances of each business project, and because it allows us to manage several platforms in the cloud simultaneously (we are talking about integrations, of course. We also like how easy it is to approve workflows manually, and how easy it is to perform benchmarking. Now, it has an excellent KPI system. What do you dislike? Something that we really dislike about using jira is not well ...

Great project tool and good at tracking issues etc.

What do you like best? This is a great alternative to tools like Excel and Visio. Project management have been made easy with this Jira. Administration is easy and users do not need a lot of help with the software itself. We have a lot of users that find it nice to use with Confluence now. What do you dislike? The basic user administration is very easy but if you have to set up more challenging user permissions you will need to use a permission scheme. It can be very heavy and you ...

All you need to track your projects

What do you like best? Jira will allow you to maintain control on your project following Agile methodologies. It will allow you to share visibility with all your team and maintain under control the progress of each small task as well as have a good big picture of the overall project. You can link hierarchically all the activity and manage dependency between them. Great to assign the task to your team and also to limit the amount of email, collecting all the project related stuff ...

Complex to learn, but great for tracking large product environments!

What do you like best? Easy to navigate and search through different projects within it. Easy to get up to date information on where a Sprint is going. The Kanban support is pretty great. Breaking out Sprints is very handy and I love that you can set Sprint Goals for each one. Deep levels of customization once the initial hurdle of learning admin is out of the way. What do you dislike? Administration is very complex. It takes a lot of effort to learn how to set up the back end of ...

Daily user..

What do you like best? JIRA is rich in features and it is a very dynamic management system. What do you dislike? Sometimes it tends to enforce the workflows on you. Recommendations to others considering the product: Very useful for medium-large companies. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Daily software development management. 1. It has become a standard. All devs have used it at least once. 2. Unique source of ...
