What do you like best about IFTTT? The ability to automate so many different apps in one location What do you dislike about IFTTT? Not enough apps available for automation. Recommendations to others considering IFTTT: Pretty good for IOT automation What problems is IFTTT solving and how is that benefiting you? Automating invoice submission using IFTTT to notify users of new invoices and then to notify other users when the new invoices have been reviewed and are ready for processing.

"awesome app, but works 90% of the time"

What do you like best about IFTTT? Automation of mundane tasks. one less thing to worry about in my mind. What do you dislike about IFTTT? there's been a few occasions where the automation didn't work. didn't have time to figure out why but most of the time it works OK. What problems is IFTTT solving and how is that benefiting you? Automating posts between Wordpress, social media and email newsletters. Saves me time to do it only once and have IFTT distribute it on all the other channels

"IFTTT - Personal Automation, not Business"

What do you like best about IFTTT? I love the ability to automate stuff...especially to make life easier. IFTTT definitely focuses more on person stuff more than work. Lights, thermostats, Geolocation, Alexa, Spotify, etc. What do you dislike about IFTTT? For the most part, business integration is its downfall. What do you like best about IFTTT? The dynamic ability to add many tasks to your hearts desire is nice, but can be overwhelming when starting. The UI is very intuitive and allows for easy tasks creation. What do you dislike about IFTTT? The text feature emails and texts you, so I was bombarded with communication when the rule/tasks ran. Feedback-- There's a lot of potential to create virtual doorbell buttons that drive Alexa smart home automations via outside weather events. Alexa doesn't support weather triggers which is a significant omission. My use case is primarily weather triggered events such as wind over a certain speed to retract an outdoor awning (bond hub controlling somfy awning) or weather below freezing to enable a smart plug for pipe heat tape on pipes subject to freezing in an attic. Switch off functionalities without notice in free mode

IFTTT switches off functionality for existing free accounts. Not so great. This ain't a customer policy which one appreciates. Anyway in the free version only 2(!) applets are possible - otherwise subscription With a more open free account I think more people would get into the subsc. because alt the end all the functionalities are only nice to haves.
