"Powerful and advanced communications tool "

What do you like best about HCL Sametime? I like how many ways there are to configure every little feature. What do you dislike about HCL Sametime? By default, the message windows always pop up over whatever app you're using. It's pretty difficult to find how to disable it What problems is HCL Sametime solving and how is that benefiting you? I use it for my everyday work, helps a lot for contact others, specially for me that I am a IT guy.

Its a simple to use instant messanger for office purpose, with all basic features like one to one chatting, group chat, media share etc. The best this about this messenger is its integrated with IMB lotus notes allowing continuous synchronization of contacts. Also its a robust and secure platform, which makes it ideal for office use. What do you dislike about HCL Sametime? This scores very low in performance. You would often face frequent crashes ...

How many steps there are to log in, had to open lotus and waiiiitt for that to load, and then log in to Sametime. Skype auto loads. What do you like best about HCL Sametime? Has features like screen capture, chat history, group chat and file sharing. Can also customize the emotions pack. What do you dislike about HCL Sametime? The chat history is not in the same window as the chat. You have to open a separate window. The interface feels outdated compared to Microsoft's equivalent. What problems is HCL Sametime solving and how is that benefiting you? Easier to communicate with other team overseas.
