Continuous Data Protection for End-Users
What do you like best? Easy to deploy, use and manage. The software is very low impact on the system and overall bandwidth as a whole - our end users love that. What do you dislike? Other than pricing, I have nothing to complaint about Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it before you buy it What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Continuous Data Protection for End-Users

Druva inSync review
What do you like best? I love the simplicity for the end users. Once things are setup and running they take care of everything. It is rare that they call in for help with a restore or adding a folder. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way to set it up so that a top level folder is configured on the server side, and the user could deselect sub folders under that top level folder. Really a minor annoyance. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Good service for our data backup requirements.
What do you like best? Easy setup of the system and ease of use once installed. What do you dislike? Dashboard interface could improve. The different login for user and admin could be centralized. Recommendations to others considering the product: It is a good system to use. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ITAR restricted data backup

Review of our Druva inSync Cloud deployment
What do you like best? Druva is easy to deploy if you use GPO rules or SCCM, we even were able to use Munki for our Mac users. It was fairly easy to lock the installer down to only mass deployment installations using a generated token. We used the cloud version and so didn't have to worry about setting up onsite storage even with users who had several GB of data we didn't need to restrict what could be backed up. What do you dislike? We're an international company with users all over. ...

End Point Backup and FileSharing in One Solution
What do you like best? There is one solution to backup the end point data and allow employees to share data internally and externally. Their support is super fast. What do you dislike? Needs more features on the inSync (Dropbox like side). I know their focus is on data governance but employees are yearning for more sharing related features. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Protecting data on employee computers. Allow employees to ...

Non-obtrusive Backup Solution
What do you like best? Digital backup solutions can be annoying and hard to set up. Luckily, my company uses Druva inSync which makes everything seamless and non-obtrusive to the end user. I'm using this program on a Windows 7 device and it runs in the task manager. It will subtly notify me when a backup has started. Otherwise, I don't even know it's there. Luckily, I haven't had any data loss so I haven't had to actually use the program for data recovery. But based on other reviews of ...

Druva has made laptop backups a reality!
What do you like best? The ease of use and simple configuration has made the rollout of inSync easy and quick for our limited IT staff. What do you dislike? Druva has made many enhancements to the system, however there is still a need for configurable notifications and reports. There also needs to be better error message handling. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are solving laptop backup, encryption and remote data wipe. I can ...

Excellent product, wish there was better Linux support!
What do you like best? Easy to use, easy to deploy. Minimally disruptive to our Engineering folks. What do you dislike? Linux support could be better (limited distros, no official support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS). Recommendations to others considering the product: macOS deployment was very easy; having a standardized hostname convention also makes deployment less painful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Automated endpoint ...

Yes and No
What do you like best? Upsides were that we had the control over data and ease of management. What do you dislike? Previously the inSync share was hosted in-house but I think users are forced to move to cloud which I think is not acceptable. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are happy that your data will be hosted on the cloud while using the inSync share feature, I think it’s a good product. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Fantastic solution for laptop, OneDrive, and Office 365 backups, but...
What do you like best? The ability to restore OneDrive files works amazingly well. Additionally, laptop/desktop backups couldn't be easier, and we like the ability to plug this into our SSO solution, Okta for ease of sign-in for our users. What do you dislike? The web search for email doesn't work as advertised, and what does work is pretty limited. You are not able to search for 'to' or 'from,' fields. Druva has told us that this is something that will be addressed later, but it's ...
