What do you like best? I can see that blackline will help decrease the amount of manual tasks needed What do you dislike? An example I see is that some manual work is needed for implementations that are supposed to create less manual work. The auto grouping feature is amazing, but to "ungroup", the user needs to manually click on each. The ability to see the status of all recons/tasks/variance analysis allows the company to shift priorities and focus on high risk items. tracking the completion and quality of the recons helps with employee training and engagement issues. User Access administration is manual and would like an automated import of users. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What do you like best? Audit trail ability and different roles that user can have. And the best part is it is easy to navigate through the Blackline system due to its user friendly interface. What do you dislike? Report graphics - ability to change color coding. For example when I use reporting module and run the reports, I can apply all the advanced filters which is great. however, the graph that is displayed on the screen has just two colors - blue (for positive) and red (for negative) ...

What do you like best? I use Blackline mainly for maintaining closing accruals evidence and for approval of these journal entries. It's very easy to navigate and to find the past evidence in case do you need it for some audit. What do you dislike? Sometimes the system feels a little slow although maybe this issue it's from our company side. What do you like best? It is easy to implement, use and learn. What do you dislike? Why are the search functions at the bottom of the screen? Can they be moved closer to the top? What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Less paper - more financial and supporting items in one location. Better audit capabilities and querying. Working on reducing the month-end close period.
