What do you like best? The reporting and controls are fantastic. What do you dislike? That the daily reconciliations do not link to the monthly reconciliations. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Matching 100ks of banking transactions. Saved timed & created efficiencies.

What do you like best? BlackLine has helped to make the management of PBCs more effective and efficient & to manage the quarter close process as well. I am able to link all task related to a PBC or qtr close task in one area. "Can be powerful if implemented and adopted properly"

What do you like best? Account auto-certification has made our close process much faster and accurate. What do you dislike? I don't like that the Reviewer cannot certify a reconciliation until the Approver has certified it first. It creates a bottleneck in our workflow. It would be great if a Reviewer could pre-certify, so that once the Approver certifies it, it is fully certified. What do you like best? The ability to standardize recons and use different templates in the reconciliation module. What do you dislike? I dislike the online user group. I would like easier access to training. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Standardization of reconciliations, moving away from excel and the ability to create reports.

"Streamlined"

What do you like best? Love the easy of the Reconcilations. The balances are uploaded and it is so easy to balance the accounts. What do you dislike? I have not found a downside of using Blackline, Recommendations to others considering the product: If you want a easier close, try the account reconciliations. it is so easy to use. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? it takes me less time to complete account reconcilitions vs using Excel spreadsheets

What do you like best? I like how the product modules are seamlessly integrated. it helps us stay consistent across our controls and close process. What do you dislike? adopting new products can be daunting. Knowing who to reach out to can be difficult. What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? BlackLine’s paperless account reconciliations allow for workflow approvals that are fast and efficient. This time saver is extremely valuable during the busy month-end close process. Additionally, the creative use of different templates means that majority of our account reconciliations can be auto-certified. What do you like best? I like that we can use blackline to do our account reconciliations and be able to auto-certify many accounts that we used to have to manually certify. Using Blackline has also allowed us to use the system as a repository and be able to look up detail much quicker than in the past. What do you dislike?
