What do you like best? Access to an extraordinary amount of data and maps and the ability to share maps with others outside of our Desktop and ArcMap environments. Creating custom maps for business partners that sometimes includes additional external data that they have provided

I have used ArcGIS Online for our educational outreach program.

What do you like best? The best aspects of AGOL is that is online based so there are not downloads of software needed. In addition there is a free version for people to try which is very helpful with beginners. What do you dislike? There are clearly not as many options or ways to customize as there are in ArcGIS desktop. Recommendations to others considering the product: There are a lot of videos, lessons, training materials available for AGOL so I think it is easy to teach yourself ...

What do you like best? Ease of access and the volume of data available What do you dislike? Sometimes the data sets lack good metadata. A data set without good documentation is often of litttle use. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have put some of our own data online which has helped our users more easily access it.

What do you like best? The capacity to edit and share storymaps. Today I believe is really important to create a map collecting data from reliable sources and visualize the content in a map that shares a story because it produces a real impact and makes it easier for the final user to better understand the power of GIS. The legend symbols should be one and the same as the clickable layers

What do you like best? Ability to share information. Easy to use. What do you dislike? The list of legend items are separate from the list of clickable layers. I refrain from using because of challenges with this software to accomoate publishing in 2 official languages (federal government in Canada.

"Easy to use online mapping"

What do you like best about ArcGIS Online? It is super easy to get setup and use. We use it every day. I use ArcPro desktop and publish to ArcGIS Online. What do you dislike about ArcGIS Online?
