For €75 million, Jump Technology, a software supplier for the investment management sector with headquarters in Paris, France, was purchased by Clearwater Analytics Holdings, a Boise, Idaho-based provider of SaaS-based investment accounting, reporting, and analytics solutions.
Enverus rises to meet solar planning challenges with the acquisition of RatedPower
In order to maximize the potential of photovoltaic (PV) plants and lower their Levelized cost of energy, Enverus, the top energy SaaS company, today announced that it had acquired Madrid-based RatedPower.
RatedPower creates SaaS solutions that automate and optimize the feasibility study, analysis, design, and engineering of solar power plants and electrical infrastructure.
DataArt Expands into Romania with Acquisition of Lola Tech
A renowned software development agency with offices in the UK and Romania, Lola Tech, has been acquired by DataArt, a worldwide software engineering company, as part of a strategy to keep growing its international network and investing in the best IT talent. Scale Venture Partners closed at $900m
Venture capital firm Scale Venture Partners, based in Foster City, California, closed its Fund VIII at $900 million. The fund received subscriptions from both new and current investors.
With a specific emphasis on cognitive apps, which integrate machine learning, API connectivity, and sensors to alter how corporations work, it will be invested in cloud and SaaS software startups.
Point Nine raises €180m seed fund to invest in B2B startups
Point Nine Capital, a venture capital firm with its headquarters in Belin, has received a new seed fund of €180 million to promote B2B marketplaces and B2B SaaS businesses.
The fund’s primary focus will be on investing in its home market of Europe. While 20% to 30% of its investments are made in the US, Canada, and Turkey, Point Nine aims to invest €500,000 to €5 million in seed-stage enterprises, primarily in Europe.
