GoStudent acquires edtech peer Studienkreis
GoStudent, a global online education corporation, has recently purchased Studienkreis, a provider of private tutoring classes in the DACH region. GoStudent, a company with its headquarters in Vienna, anticipates that the addition of Studienkreis tutoring facilities will accelerate the adoption of “hybrid learning” methodologies, combining its current online learning resources with in-person instruction from the Studienkreis network.
Bath, UK-based Roqqett fintech has been acquired by Equals Group
International payments company Equals Group has acquired Bath, UK-based Roqqett fintech firm Roqqutt for up to £2.25 million. The latter is likely to be paid in less than a year and will pay an initial £1 million in cash, followed by payments based on specific platform capabilities being developed.

In an effort to invest more capital in digital health during its early-stage growth phases, Reinhard Meier, the co-founder of the German telemedicine company Teleclinic, has launched a new venture capital firm. According to the German publication Handelsblatt, the new venture capital firm, known as Yzr Capital, is announcing its maiden fundraise for a €100 million LP vehicle that has already raised 60% of its total corpus.
