Starhive Raises $3 Million in Seed Funding
Starhive, a no-code app builder, has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by node.vc. Partners of node.vc Andy Johnston and Henrik Tellving will join the board.
After two decades of conversations with hundreds of customers and working with numerous applications and platforms, Tommy Nordahl, CEO of Starhive, shared a common trend: most software is designed with a domain-specific focus to address a single, isolated problem. These tools often confine critical data within their specific domains, making it challenging or even impossible to use that data across other areas. This leads to the creation of data silos, which cause problems such as data duplication, data loss, inefficiency, inflated technology costs, poor decision-making, lost revenue, and a disengaged workforce. In 2022, Tommy Nordahl and Mathias Edblom started Starhive to create a powerful and flexible database platform.
The latest funding will enable the company to promote Starhive and continue developing its platform, particularly in key areas such as enterprise service management, asset management, and project management.
About Starhive:
Starhive is a powerful no-code platform for businesses to build applications and internal tools to make them more productive. Starhive’s foundation is a flexible database that allows users to store their data and map all relationships between different data sets. As business needs change, the data model can be easily adapted. By unifying all business data in one place, Starhive enables users to create no-code apps on their data, significantly boosting productivity.

With these advancements, Sloneek aims to triple its turnover, setting an ambitious goal for its growth.
Filip Lukáč, CEO of Sloneek, shared that people are the core of any economy’s success and saw a chance to improve how companies work with their employees.
