London-based Sequence has raised $19M to build “the finance operations platform of the future” for B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies.

The sequence is working to develop what it calls a new type of FinOps stack for B2B companies, using APIs and other tools to develop more responsive pricing, billing, and associated services. Sequence will do this by utilising data and analytics. In order to allow businesses to pick and select the billing, payment, and revenue data aspects they require help tracking, Sequence has developed a modular “low-code” software package.

In order to create the ideal “stack” for their payments, Sequence is already collaborating with unicorns on both sides of the Atlantic, such as Pipe, Deliveroo, Omnipresent, Snyk, and Reachdesk.

They have reached this truly amazing position where they are well-resourced as a team, but they are lean and nimble enough to move very quickly, and they want to really capitalise on that right away.
