TheyDo Secures $34 Million in Funding
SaaS company TheyDo has raised an additional $34 million in a funding round led by Blossom Capital. The funding empowers TheyDo to further advance their leadership in journey management on a larger scale. Stripe Crosses the $1 trillion Total Payment Volume Metric in 2023
In the annual letter, Stripe mentioned that it crossed $1 trillion in total payment volume in 2023, marking a 25% increase from the previous year. This means that the combined output of businesses using Stripe accounts for about 1% of the world’s GDP. Stripe also reported strong positive cash flow in 2023 and anticipates the same for 2024.

Zendesk to Acquire Ultimate
Zendesk has revealed its plans to acquire Ultimate, a customer support automation provider. The company has not disclosed the acquisition price.
This acquisition builds on the launch of Zendesk AI. The company aims to deliver the most complete AI offering for customer experience (CX) in the market.
With Zendesk and Ultimate joining forces, companies will have more options to handle issues according to their preferences. This includes using fully automated AI agents, workflow automation, or human interaction. For human agents, this means they can spend more time fostering relationships, solving intricate problems, and leveraging their customer expertise to become valuable strategic partners in the company.
