SaaS Funding- Protopia AI – AI Data analytics company raises Seed Round
Protopia AI, an Austin, Texas-based company that helps companies make the best use of their AI data, recently said that it has closed a $6 million initial round of funding. Protopia has received $8 million in total funding, including a $2 million pre-seed round.
The investment was led by ATX Venture Partners and included participation from Galaxy Interactive, Silverton Partners, DNX Ventures, and all prior investors.
The funds will be used to build up the engineering teams working on the project. In the financial services, government, and healthcare industries—where data sensitivity causes the greatest operational delays—the company is currently beta-testing its solution.
Protopia AI addresses a significant market issue: enterprises’ inability to obtain essential data necessary for their artificial intelligence models because of data privacy rules. Protopia AI enables enterprises to get the most out of their actual data using AI and ML thanks to a state-of-the-art privacy-enhancing layer that ensures sensitive raw data is never exposed to AI while still giving the AI everything it needs.
The company was recently named a Gartner® Cool Vendor in AI Governance and Responsible AI for providing a low-overhead, software-only solution to data protection for both inference and model training.
