PCB Stator Technology- Pivots from deep tech startup to a SaaS company in 2023. Read now!
“Pivoting from hardware to SaaS was the right move for our electric motor design startup.” -PCB Stator Technology
A Massachusetts-based firm called ECM PCB Stator Technology is committed to altering how inventors connect with electric devices. They contend that designers and engineers shouldn’t be forced to select motors from a list of predetermined frame sizes, speeds, and torques. They are providing a design software platform that enables access to optimized, application-specific PCB Stator motors.
Our main scientist, Dr. Steven Shaw, an electrical and software engineer with an MIT education, was the driving force behind the startup’s invention.
The company initially saw this as a hardware barrier before realizing that software holds the key to addressing the demand for next-generation electric motors. They changed to a SaaS model as a result.
Pivoting from hardware to SaaS was the right move for our electric motor design startup, but the process wasn’t precisely linear.
Brian Casey is CEO of ECM PCB Stator Technology.
Four key actions led us to the conclusion that SaaS was our model.
- -Evaluated the aspects of technology that were actually revolutionary, scalable, and profitable.
- -Had open communication with board and investors.
- -Examined technological developments and world markets.
- -Launched MVP quickly, choosing to refine it in public rather than perfect it behind closed doors.
Congratulation team PCB Stator Technology on this new journey from team SpotSaaS
