Oyster Secures $59 Million in Series D Funding at $1.2 Billion Valuation
Oyster, a global employment platform, has raised $59 million in Series D funding, bringing its total funding to $286 million. This round was led by Silver Lake Waterman, with participation from existing investors like Stripes, Emergence Capital, Georgian, G2 Venture Partners, and Endeavor Catalyst. With this investment, the company hit a valuation of $1.2 billion.
According to the press release, the funding will enable Oyster to accelerate its platform roadmap, expand its impact, strengthen its customers’ compliance posture, and enhance its ability to attract and retain top talent.
Tony Jamous, co-founder and CEO of Oyster, shared that the recent funding round confirms their strategy of building the compliance and compensation intelligence infrastructure companies need for global growth.
