Leading AI Supported Startup Moonhub Raises $4.4 Million in Seed Round
Moonhub, a San Francisco, California-based artificial intelligence startup, raised $4.4 million in seed funding with the goal of automating the recruiting process for recruiters and making it less prejudiced for candidates.
Started by Nancy Xu in 2022, Moonhub is developing a real-time people search engine that is driven by AI that examines many real-time candidate market signals.
The business uses conversational AI to assist recruiters in finding more qualified job candidates by utilizing a wider range of signals than are typically used.
“We’re building Moonhub and at the core we want to be recruiting AI for fast-growing companies. And what we do is we have a core platform that allows companies to find the best talent for any given opportunity, and work with in-house experts to actually hire people and engage them for those opportunities,”
Moonhub founder and CEO Nancy Xu said.
Along with Google Ventures and Khosla Ventures, other investors in the round included Day One Ventures, AIX Ventures, and a number of angel investors, including Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, Mike Volpi, Ram Shriram, and Christopher Ré, professor at Stanford’s AI Lab.
The business intends to make some of its core AI technologies available to clients directly as a software solution later this year thanks to the most recent round of funding.
