London-based Cledara has raised $20 million in a Series A
London-based Cledara has raised $20 million in a Series A round of funding to assist businesses in reining in their SaaS sprawl. It is a software management platform that gives businesses more insight and control over their SaaS subscriptions.
Cledara, founded in 2018, aims to assist businesses of all sizes in dealing with SaaS sprawl, where some businesses subscribe to as many as 200 different online services through the browser.
While this is evidence of the SaaS business model’s virtues and a nod to the larger cloud movement, it may also create an administrative environment that is difficult for IT departments to manage while attempting to keep track of everything they are paying for.
As a “system of record,” it provides information on which programmes are being utilised, renewal notifications and all associated expenses, spends analytics, and any projections a business may require.
The Cledara platform enables its users to centralise all of their payments across more than 2,500 distinct SaaS applications.
The largest database of SaaS purchases, usage, renewals, and cancellations for software buyers across 28 countries is now held by Cledara.
By directing businesses to the best SaaS for them using the dataset they have, they lessen the need for conventional procurement procedures.
