Buzzmint secures Ayre Ventures funding

Ayre Ventures, the venture capital division of Calvin Ayre’s Ayre Group, is one of the investors in Buzzmint, the Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that enables brands, creators, media-specific businesses, and individuals to easily and quickly ideate, create, and deploy utility-led NFT/token projects. The funding will assist Buzzmint grow rapidly in the coming years.

Buzzmint makes it possible for customers to offer NFT (non-fungible token) initiatives within their own digital infrastructure, doing away with the need to direct audience members to a separate NFT platform. Customers without access to their own infrastructure will be able to publish directly to Buzzmint’s own NFT marketplace when it launches later this year.

Buzzmint’s perspective on NFTs goes beyond the typical stereotype of crude digital art that serves no purpose and is completely speculative. According to Buzzmint, NFTs are purpose-driven technologies capable of performing a variety of functions, such as providing event tickets, access codes to restricted content, or giving brands the tools to engage in two-way dialogue with their target audiences in order to forge fresh, meaningful relationships with their communities.
