Amagi, a Media-focused SaaS startup has raised $79 Mn in funding from private equity (PE) firm General Atlantic.
Amagi will use the money to finance its growth and expansion by engaging in corporate restructuring initiatives.

Amagi provides customers with a cloud suite that allows them to produce, share, and monetize content. It also provides broadcast and targeted advertising solutions for broadcast and streaming TV platforms.
After earning $95 Mn in a capital round headed by Accel and other existing investors, Amagi became a unicorn a few months prior to the latest fundraising effort. Following that, Amagi reportedly paid its founders and staff 91.Cr worth of equity shares in April.
Amagi asserts that its platform supports over 650 content brands and over 800 playout chains across 40 different nations.
